Jennifer Blum

Jennifer Blum has over seventeen years of experience in property title matters, oil and gas law, and commercial real estate and finance. She began her legal career at Columbia University in New York City, where she earned a dual JD/Masters of International Affairs degree in Law and International Economic Policy. She has worked for top firms in New York and Colorado, including White & Case and Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, and was a partner in Highland Title Company, an independent title insurance company located in Summit County, Colorado. Jennifer was also a supervising landman for the Denver office of Allen & Kirmse, Ltd., a land brokerage company, where she managed and trained field landmen and abstracters.

Her practice focuses primarily on title research and opinions relating to oil and gas, real property, and other mineral interests. She also handles commercial real estate matters relating to the oil and gas industry. She has been involved on a pro bono basis with land trusts that handle conservation easements and microfinance organizations that assist entrepreneurs.

Jennifer is originally from Waupaca, Wisconsin, and received her undergraduate degree in International Relations from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. She enjoys sailing, cross-country skiing, kayaking and snowboarding. She's worked as a crew member on sailing yachts and completed a trans-Atlantic crossing on the way from England to Alaska via the Panama Canal, and has sailed across the South Pacific from Fiji to Australia. She also lived in Japan for two years teaching English, and has traveled by car from Costa Rica to Colorado through Central America and Mexico.
